Welcome to Week 40 of Paint Party Friday! (Week 40! How fast the weeks fly!) The holidays are quickly approaching and we are thrilled to see that so many of you are making painting (and partying) part of your holiday traditions!
Last week we asked if you give your paintings as gifts. Your wonderful creations make fabulous gifts and most of you, for part of your gift-giving, make at least a few gifts or paint a few paintings for your loved ones. (We've seen lots of art we'd like to receive! ;) Lucky loved ones!)
For the next few weeks we are switching to fun, light and easy polls. This week, we wonder - are you ready for the holidays yet?
Please make sure to use your post URL address NOT your blog home page URL address as there are many late visitors who get confused as to which post is for PPF when they arrive (after Friday) at your website. If you are unfamiliar with Mr. Linky, an explanation of how this tool works can be found on Week 1 and Week 2 Check-ins.
We hope that you find some relaxation (by painting?) in the midst of the holiday chaos and that you have a great time at the party!
Hi guys, happy Paint Party Friday!
ReplyDeleteThis week I've added a link to a 2012 calendar I've just put together. It's the first time I've ever made one, and it was really fun choosing the paintings to go in it. So I thought I would share it with you. :)
Has anyone else ever made a calendar from their work?
I am all ready for the Holidays.....I like to enjoy every moment of this magical time of year....I am never stressed over anything!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's all done except for hitting the ATM for cash gifts for the nephews who are too cool for presents. I can relax and enjoy the parties...

Hey guys! It's a full term baby now! I feel like I should say happy "birth" day to Paint Party Friday :)
ReplyDeleteHello everyone and Happy PPF!. I have been concentrating on ordering on-line or shopping small stores for specific requests for gifts and having them sent directly, hopefully with gift wrapping, but a few not, and if they arrive here and have to be wrapped, and then shipped.... today is the last day!! Is that a run-on sentence? Well, that is what my life feels like lately!! I have all my outside lights up and two small artificial trees up with lights on(no ornaments yet), but my main tree is neither up nor decorated. I hope to do that this weekend. This week I was lucky enough(because it means fun and good friends) to have gatherings with friends that entailed, some painting, bringing of dishes to share, small gift exchanges on Monday 2 on Wednesday, Thursday and today! Thank you Eva & Kristin, and Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to all.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays everyone! Free holiday page for you! I will be back to painting, blogging & visiting like normal after the holidays!! But, will be visiting today & over the week! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF all!! I'm having a giveaway! And still have to finish Christmas presents!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe pretty much have little to buy and we basically give out gift cards. Makes it easier and we found that the recipients really like this better and they've started doing the same. Happy Paint Friday everone and of course enjoy the holidays.
ReplyDeletehello! thanks for the party!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday Painters! :)
ReplyDeletei love the poll question :)
ReplyDeletedo you know that i have not done one damn thing for xmas yet? i will though.
but not so much.
i try to do special stuff for my kids daily and not make such a big ginormous thing out of holidays and birthdays..
our culture is already so child-centric and focused on material junk.
i'll order a cheese tray, and we'll have a few gifts. maybe a tree.
that's it.
xxa
