I have to say from my experience, the Liquidtex cobalt blue is not the best. I would love to try all kinds of course..depends what i can afford at the time..maybe in the future I will get to experiment more with new brands and colors...for now i create with what i have. <br /><br />I mostly use Wins&Newt...and Grumbacher has some fave colors for me like the sienna, red and payne's grey..I use those brands alot. and also Liquitex has great prices here...so they are easy to afford. <br /><br />I truly just have and use the basics..<br />I am also very lucky..because my family and friends know my passion and will buy me paint as gifts..so every now and then i get to discover and play with a totally new color i never tried before.<br /><br />I also find different brands have different faves for me..<br /><br />I would love to try some of the ones mentioned above..everyone seems to like Golden..i have mot yet tried it. I can slather paint all over without panicking that I'm wasting the good stuff. Sometimes it depends on the colour, as some colour differs according to brand.
