Paint Party Friday: Week 28. Year 11 Check-In

Welcome to Week 28 of Year 11 here at Paint Party Friday. We continue to hope you are all safe, happy  and healthy in this time of social distancing, and that art is helping to alleviate the stress of this unprecedented situation. And that things have improved and opened up in your part of the world.

Our random number generator this week chose #2 - Soma - InkTorrents.com. Getting away from it all in her garden, Soma painted this lovely bookmark. She also had lots more of her photo project to show us. Please drop by and check it out!

As always, please make sure to use your post URL address NOT your blog home page URL address as there are many late visitors who get confused as to which post is for PPF when they arrive (after Friday) at your website. If you are unfamiliar with Mr. Linky, an explanation of how this tool works can be found on Year 1, Week 1.

Have a lovely and creative week!

Paint Party Friday: Week 27. Year 11 Check-In

Welcome to Week 26 of Year 11 here at Paint Party Friday. We continue to hope you are all safe and healthy in this time of social distancing, and that art is helping to alleviate the stress of this unprecedented situation. And that things have started to improve and open up in your part of the world.

This week, the random number generator chose #10: Linda K. One of the things that we have always loved about PPF is the community, friendships, and sharing in this community. In her post last week, Linda shared a wonderful example of that generosity. In addition to all of the lovely artwork she showed, Linda posted this fabulous watercolor swatch page that she made (using watercolors that she won from a giveaway by fellow PPF-er, Soma from InkTorrents!)... We just love to see all of the connections that have been made in this group!

And that things have started to improve and open up in your part of the world.

This week random.org chose #12 - Tracey (The comment links were added to the count at the end - sorry for the Mr. Linky issue - it was showing up on the preview... If it happens again, please email us as we don't see the comments as readily. Thanks!) Tracey over-painted a magazine photo to create this super confident portrait! Please check out the close up as well.

Paint Party Friday: Week 25, Year 11 Check-In

Welcome to Week 25 of Year 11 here at Paint Party Friday. We continue to hope you are all safe and healthy in this time of social distancing, and that art is helping to alleviate the stress of this unprecedented situation. And that things have started to improve and open up in your part of the world.

This week our random number generator chose #15 - Linda C. Lin had a number of fun watercolours to show this week including this very creative and unusual juxtaposition of peacock, robot and poppy. Three things you don't usually find together! What is the meaning or are they random combinations? What is really what creativity and innovation is all about, isn't it - combining previously uncombined ideas together. Please drop by to see the rest...
